The Pro-Active Alliance, in partnership with The Banned Book Babes Book Club and Let Utah Read Park City, will welcome Rebekah Cummings, founder of Let Utah Read, as the featured guest for their September monthly meeting. Join us for a community conversation examining book challenges and bans in Utah, recent legislation affecting access to books, and the broader questions these issues raise about the First Amendment, parental rights and intellectual freedom. We invite all community members who are interested in learning more to attend. The purpose of the evening is to provide an opportunity to become better informed, hear from an individual closely involved in the issue, ask questions and engage in thoughtful community dialogue.
